Phonebooth has the ability to set the outgoing caller ID name registration for each phone number you have. To change the caller ID name used on outgoing calls, you will need to put in a request in the support ticketing system with the following information:
- Phone number(s) to be changes
- Name to use:
- Must be a name related to your company (do not abuse someone else's trademarks & names)
- Can be no longer than 15 characters (A-Z and 0-9)
How does Outbound caller ID name work? Outbound caller ID is where we register a name entry in a global database. When you call out to a phone number the receiving carrier matches the phone number to the database in order to provide a name and display it for their customer.
