The Owner (the initial administrative User on the account) has ability to easily change credit card information, add/remove User quantities, purchase additional supported IP-phones and add additional local phone numbers. This article will help guide customers in the use of these features.

Changing Credit Card Information

Phonebooth OnDemand now gives the Owner (the initial administrative User on the account) the ability to add/change credit cards for the account and choose which one will be used for recurring billing.

Add/Remove Users

Phonebooth OnDemand is a User driven service, meaning that the main billable unit. Phonebooth now gives the Owner the ability to raise or lower the billed user quantity directly from the Phonebooth Administrative Portal. To learn more, How to add/remove user quantities

Purchase Additional Phones

Phonebooth now gives the Owner the ability to purchase additional phones from within the Administrative portal. To learn more, How to purchase a new supported IP-phone

Add Local Phone Numbers

Phonebooth Owner now have the ability to add additional local phone numbers to their Phonebooth OnDemand service. To learn more,How to add additional local phone numbers to Phonebooth OnDemand

What account information cannot be changed in the portal, yet?

  • Porting Phone Numbers - transferring phone numbers is still a manual process and does require the submission of a service request (ticket).
  • Removing Phone Numbers - removing a phone number from your account is not currently supported from the portal and will require submission of a service request (ticket).
  • Adding Phone MAC Addresses - see How to add a Device to Phonebooth Ondemand
  • Changing Owner - This also requires submission of a service request (ticket).
  • Purchasing or Porting Toll-free Numbers - This also requires submission of a service request (ticket).
  • Cancel Service - If you would like to cancel your service, you will need to submit a service request (ticket).

How are changes purchased?

We realize that there a customers who purchase via credit card and various other methods, but all portal changes and additions will be paid via credit card exclusively.

  • Buying Phones - any phones purchased will be  paid for in full via credit card at time of purchase.
  • Adding Users - the new user(s) will be prorated for the remainder of the month and paid via credit card at the time of purchase. Invoice customers will see the new user(s) charges in the following month's bill. Credit card customers will be billed as normal.
  • Adding Local Numbers - the new number(s) will be prorated for the remainder of the month and paid via credit card at the time of purchase. Invoice customers will see the new number(s) charges in the following month's bill. Credit card customers will be billed as normal.
  • Removing Users - when a number is removed, Invoiced and credit card billing customers alike will receive a prorated credit on their next bill.
